Have you ever seen a field of sunflowers? If yes, you should like this picture. I used ginkgo leaves and a banana peel center for the sunflowers. The barn was constructed from red poinsettia and brown day lily leaves. White poplar leaves were used for the sky. Additional botanicals include lily of the valley leaves, coral bell, hydrangea, solidago, cosmos, alyssum, weigela, fern and miscellaneous botanicals. This piece was vacuum sealed between a layer of mylar and 99% UV conservation glass. A second layer of acrylic covers the mat.
